Bone Folder

Bonefolders are the best friend of conservators, bookbinders, anyone making cards, bookbinding, folding origami, or editioning printmakers...

One of their many uses is to make a sharp fold for cards, or the endpapers of a book for example. 

Scoring a line before you fold it weakens the fibres at that point and compresses them so the paper folds naturally.  Then press it down with the smooth surface of the bonefolder, and you’ll have a perfect, consistent, professional edge.

Keep your bonefolder handy to avoid puckering, creasing as you move your art paper around.  Use your bonefolder to gently lift the paper.
